If you want to upload/show photos here on Photrio, you can use the main Gallery for this:

Hit the 'Add media' button in the top right of your screen:
A pop-up screen comes up; you need to select the "Standard Gallery" from the list of options:
You're then presented with a form where you can upload your photo; before doing so, please select the proper 'content type', which in your case is 'Digital':
Then click the 'Upload file' button below that and fill out the form that appears as soon as the image shows up. Note that there are many fields to fill out, but they're not required, so you can limit to whatever information you want to share.
I think (not 100% sure) that EXIF data is stripped in the process.
Then if you want to share your work in forum posts (for instance in the
Picture a Day thread, which I can heartily recommend), you can select the 'Gallery embed' button on top of the new post:
This will bring up a list of your Gallery images that you can select to insert into a post.
There are several other ways to embed images; if the above doesn't work for you, please let me know and I can propose a different method if you indicate what aspect doesn't work well for your situation.
