I'm contemplating jumping into the present and getting a quick release plate/clamp to hold my Technika V to my tripod head. Before I commit the funds I wanted to ask if any of you Technika users have, in fact, used the B25 plate. My main concern is whether it will interfere with the revolving back or not.

If you've found a better solution that works for you, I'd love to hear about that as well.

Dave, I use the RRS plate on my Technika V and it does not interfere with the revolving back.

One caution: be sure the threaded hole in yourTechnika is 1/4", not 3/8", or else you will also need a 3/8-1/4 insert. The RRS plate only comes with a 1/4" mounting screw.

Thanks for this Scott, it's exactly what I needed to know. I've already got 1/4" adapters in place so I can use the various tripods with other cameras sporting only 1/4" sockets. (and I know what my kids are getting me now for Christmas!)
