Tamron 90mm macro Di VC compatibility with F100

Hello, fine people!
Do any of you F100 guys happen to know if the Tamron SP 90mm VC lens will be fully compatible with my Nikon F100? I am dying to know and I can't seem to find a definitive answer!

I don't have personal experience with that combo but this link https://www.photo.net/discuss/threads/tamron-vc-lenses-on-film.5512683/ suggests that you should be ok with that lens.

I have used the 90VC and 45VC with Canon film cameras but Nikon compatibility is a bit more complicated.

Thank you for this! I appreciate it very much! I did send a message to Tamron as well but haven't heard back from them. This thread makes me feel optimistic that the pair should be compatible...

I use the 35mm vc with my f5, works perfectly. Best bet would be to send tamron a message. The f100 is newer than the f5 so it SHOULD work.

Thank you for this! I am optimistic that the pair should be compatible. Indeed I have contacted Tamron and I'm hoping to soon hear back from them.

I doubt Tamron has a F100/F5 hanging around to test with, nor that they have any interest in that. But you never know. In any case, the best thing would be take the F100 to a store locally and try that lens, if that is an option.
