Tall Large Format Shooters *(Over Six Feet) : What Tripod/Head Are You Using?

I am only 6’1” but my Majestic Chicago is tall enough for an NBA player, and sturdy enough for an ULF behemoth camera.

disclaimer: it is heavy so not a travel tripod.

I have a Feisol CT-3372 that I really like as a medium height photographer. Consider a CT-3372L, which is the tall version. Just the base alone can be raised to 77", according to the specs. With the optional center column, it can go higher.


It's kind of expensive, but not excessively so for a carbon-fiber set of legs.
