Taking with Platino Film

I researched platin photography from Bostick and Sullivan at 1999 and I forgot many things. Is it possible to prepare a film emulsion and take 6*6 negatives with platino chemistry. I remember only it was impossible.

Hi Mustafa,

This is possible maybe, but not very practical.

Let me suggest that you get in touch with Loris Medici, who also lives in Istanbul. He can answer very well questions of this type since he has lots of experience with alt processes.

BTW, I spent two weeks last October in Istanbul. Great experience and fascinating place!!

Yanlis anlamadiysam pt/pd emulsiyonunu film yapmak icin kullanmak istiyorsunuz -> bu pratik degil (demir tabanli emulsiyonlarin sadece UV isiga duyarli ve hizlarinin da gumus emulsiyonlara gore 1/100.000 dolaylarinda olmasi dolayisiyla), gumus tabanli bir emulsiyon yapmanizi oneririm. Illa ki aluminyuma uygulamak zorunda degilsiniz bunu -> cam plakalar uzerine de uygulayabilirsiniz.
