Take apart AV-Xenotar 2.8/150

I know it's unlikely to find anybody who disassembled this projection lens, but anyway, does anybody know how to open it?

I haven't disassembled one, but have you tried using a rubber stopper to turn the ring at the front of the lens? This is a common first step to get inside a lens.
