T-Max mixing temperature

I don't develop fim that often and my D-76 usually ends up going bad before I can use it all up. I read that because T-Max is a liquid I can mix as much or as little as I like and that the stock solution is good for up to two years in a sealed bottle. So, I bought my first bottle today. D-76 has to be mixed at a high temp and then cooled to 68 degrees before you can use it. My question to the forum is: Does T-Max have to be mixed at a high temp? I could not find this info on the bottle, I only saw that it is mixed in a 1:4 ratio. Does this mean I can mix it at room temp? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can mix most liquid developers at room temp with out any problems.

Michael, not with T-max. Mixing at room temperature is fine. Speaking of temperature….T-max developer is optimized to be used at 24º C when developing films.

Mix the TMAX stock concentrate with room temperature water (65 Deg F to 75 F i.e.
18 Deg C to 24 C).

When you're done with your T-Max dev., you can also try Rodinal and HC-110. Both are liquid concentrates, very convenient to use and last a long time.
