Sydneysiders, can you give me a virtual (or maybe even personal?) tour of Sydney?!

Hi all,
After having never been to Sydney, I've found myself there a number of times over the past couple months, for both work and pleasure. I'm here again this weekend and, knowing I had all of Sunday to myself, brought my camera!

I'm staying in Newtown tonight and meeting a friend for coffee in the morning, beyond that, I have no idea how to spend my day. I've been recommended The Rocks as an aesthetically interesting place to explore, but would love some suggestions from a local. Are there any must see places accessible to someone looking overtly touristy with backpack and tripod on board?

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner! For the next time you come up I'd say you could do the coast walk from Coogee to Bondi. Newtown is generally a good place to wander around but you no doubt discovered that for yourself.

The Botanic Gardens is nice.
