CONDITION: Some finish wear and light soiling overall. Lenses have minor soiling inside that does not effect the operation of the microscope. Microscope is fully functional.

This type of microscope is VERY handy to have to inspect defects in negatives. It's very clear if what you are looking at is a scratch or a dust, embedded or on top, and if so, which side. I have one similar and use it fairly often. Once, I had a long scratch on a negative. It was clear the issue wasn't my camera body because I found a particle embedded at the end of the long scratch.

Highly recommended for film photographers....
