Sweden calling

Hi! I'm a happy dude from Sweden that after getting gravely ill last fall suddenly lost my interest for all my hobbies and got an craving for old cameras instead. I guess that it's proof that photography is just a sickness like all other sicknesses.

First I only was interested in Pentax and other K-Bayonet cameras but who could resist a camera just because it hasn't got the right name so now I buy any 35mm SLR's before the AF bodies. It's not that I don't like AF but the design got off track I'm sad to say.

I'm not much for going out taking pictures and more for preparing them but I'm I novice at this so for now I just study them and just enjoy handling them.

What do you think about Nikons from the 1980s?

It's a mixed bag as I love the F3 but the F3AF looks like a Russian KV-1 tank from WWII without it's main gun and people would call the police if you'd pull it out in a crowed.

I also like the smaller bodies like the FG, FM2 and FE2.

Ahh, a fellow swede...I never took to photography in the past but I'll see what I can do about putting them to use but they are already to many of them...
