One of our labs has 4 unopened containers of Kodak HC-110 concentrate (the 2 gallon size). This developer has been stored in the dark at 70F for several years and is probably still good for several years more.

This developer is lab surplus and was designated by our beancounters for chemical disposal. I have saved it (temporarily).

According to Pat Gainer, you can add a little ascorbic acid to this stuff and be the envy of the Rodinal users.

If anyone wants some, pay the shipping cost and it's yours - PM me if interested.

I keep thinking about your "Everything is analog - even digital" statement. How must we categorize the abacus. I guess because it relies on a visible shape for its answers, it is analog and digital. Sorry for the digression.

Its a good day to digress. Consider the duality of light. Sometimes it acts like particles and sometimes it acts like a wave.

Digression is good!

By the way, I still have my slide rules (and various other nomographic devices)!
