I was given a couple of these bulbs https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...equivalent-led-globe-bulb-27-lumens/440/1478/ very famous around here and I wanted to get more. Reading in the overview there's a little bit of information that I ignored before...

Important Notes - Please read before purchasing:
  1. FOR USE WITH STANDARD ON/OFF SWITCHES ONLY. Do not use with any type of dimmer, relay or other control circuit.
I use the RH Designs Stop Clock and my idea was to somehow... by extension cord, splitter, cube tap, maybe even parallel rig 4 or so around my darkroom.

I don't know anything about electrical stuff or things like that but to me it sounds that the RH Designs timer is a relay or other control circuit.

What would be the danger or using those bulbs via extension cord or power strip with my timer?
Thank you!

I have one of these over my enlarger connected to the timer (Beseler repeating-audible, not a mechanical clock but a relay-electronics thing). Zero issues.

I have from 3 to 5 running at any one time (darkroom's kinda big), but you really don't need to have them all on a switch, you just don't want them casting really bright on the easel. I usually have one over the sink, one over a work counter, and one near the enlarger that illuminates my print maps and notes, none of those are switched by the timer; something to consider, switching them all may not be necessary.

The one that's switched by the timer is probably 5 years old now, and I print several times a week - they're really long-life bulbs.

Great! Thank you! I'd always liked the idea of turning everything off while making the exposure or focusing. My enlargers are kinda dim and with the two led bulbs is hard to focus, not impossible but still harder than using the regular 15w incandescent with the 5x7 Premier safelights.

According to their tech support, since there is no dimming involved, a darkroom timer is safe to use with the bulbs.
