Hi there , my Super Ikonta III is not catching the winding drum when it tries to get to frame 7, I can’t see any damaged gears. It had worked until frame ten and then j opened it up and I think I may have misaligned the ratchet drum?

I have photos and video (just trying to work out how to make them small enough to go on here)

Anyone have this experience before?

Thanks so much

Rupert

Iirc there is a ratchet in the winding knob. It can get gunked up with old grease or the spring can get weak. Not sure if this is your problem but it's worth checking if you interested.

Careful when reassembling because the ratchet lever sticks out. You have to turn the knob a bit until the lever slips into the gear underneath.
If you try to tighten the knob screw before you do this, you can bend the ratchet lever.

I will have a look tomorrow - maybe there is some grease in the ratchet hole of frame 7.

Thank you

Thanks - that might also explain it
