Hi.
I have a question for those who has Super Ikonta b/bx with compur rapid shutter. Have you ever try to check the accuracy of the shutter speed and how big were the deviations of marked speeds. I'm looking for real number as oppose to the negative density.
Cheers

I have a few of them around the house and recently got a shutter speed tester. I'll give it a go and report back.

I did check mine with a home-made set up of a light source shining at the lens, a photodiode circuit and an oscilloscope. My friend who is an electronics whizz designed the circuit. I have the exact numbers somewhere but I doubt I'll find them. There was (as expected) some deviation from the set shutter speeds but this was around +/- 10-20% and I thought that was easily good enough for my photography. If the shutter speeds had been a whole stop out (i.e. +/- 100%) I would have worried.
