Hello,
This is a very nice first version M-mount collapsible Summicron, SN 1203470. Lens surfaces are intact, coatings are intact, it's not hazy, focus and aperture rings are smooth, and the latter has nice satisfying clicks. Infinity lock works and focus is accurate on my M3. There's minor brassing to the edge of the mount and the top of the infinity lock button, as visible in the pictures.

I'm really only selling it because I finally found an LTM one that wasn't trashed, which is what I originally wanted. I can use the screwmount lens on my IIIg as well as on the M body with an adapter ring but not vice-versa, so this one is kind of superfluous now.

I'd like to get $550 for it. If you're in the SF Bay area I'd welcome an in-person inspection; otherwise I can ship.

my flickr acct has an album of photos taken with this lens: flickr album and I think I've posted some on the threads here and on l-camera-forum too.
You can see that it has good contrast and sharpness.

So many of them are just mangled, scratches all over the front element, destroyed coatings, etc. I'd given up on even seeing a good LTM one so I got this to use on the M3 at least, and then the LTM one came up at Igor Camera and I couldn't believe it.
