Slavich is THE coldest tone paper currently available... It's nearly as cold toned as Agfa Brovira.

Freestyle lists it as closeout now on their site and it's not in their print catalog. Does anyone else import it?

EDIT: Just checked again - I recall it showing it as closeout but doesn't now. Question remains - does anyone else import it? And is there a VC version that's cold toned?

Thank you, Andrew. I wasn't aware of that and since I already have a pack I won't have to buy another and I will start from there as a base and add the gold if needed

.... though I am anxious to try some other suggestions listed.

Fomabrom is neutral, almost as cheap as Slavich, and also does not require a red safelight.

There are three versions of Fomabrom, variant III multigrade, a fixed grade version and version IV multigrade. I know for a fact that the variant III and the Fomabrom fixed grade fogs in anything but red light. Never tried the IV so can't say anything about it.

try Slavich...probably the coldest tone paper out there..
Best, Peter

Absolutely. In Edwal Ultra Black developer. If you can get any colder tones than that without toning the print, I'd like to know what it is.
