Further to my last post, to John Titor, the monetary amounts I quoted, were printed on the post ;by Tapatalk, incorrectly; they should have read, respectively,
For the first-quoted lens, " less than one hundred pounds sterling, and for the latter lens, less than one hundred and fifty pounds sterling. The ridiculous numerical amounts posted by Tapatalk are to be ignored!

Whatever camera you choose, especially if 1980s vintage, make sure you can still get compatible batteries that will work your camera's light-meter accurately

I'm partial to anything that takes a K-mount lens. The lenses are good, the price is generally inexpensive, and the bodies are good too. I've got a Pentax PZ-20 with a 28-200mm f/3.5 lens that I use quite a bit. It also will use the Pentax K and KA mount glass with no problem, and I can override the DX code setting as well. This thing has more bells and whistles than I'll ever use, and I got the body and 28-200mm lens for the princely sum of US$65, shipping included. The other-mentioned Pentax K and KA mount lenses (includes the Pentax M series lenses) were lenses I'd had from another Pentax camera, so I got to continue to use all my existing lenses.
