Successive stabiliser bath over time (annually etc) for negs

Is there benefit to archival annually or bi-annually running your most precious negs through a stabiliser bath? And for modern films that user final rinse opposed to stabiliser (ie: would they actually benefit from stabiliser, such as Stabiliser III, or would it be better to annually bath them with final rinse?).

Just a curiousity I've been thinking on.

No. In older films, the Formalin reaction was one-shot. One treatment did the job for as long as the dye was stable under your keeping conditions. Present day films have the stabilizers built in. You are not able to help. The final rinse is a biocide which protects against bacterial and fungal attack if you keep your film poorly (ie, hot and damp).
