For making a developer from scratch I need 18 g of sodium carbonate monohydr. but I've got only sodium carbonate sicc.
Can I substitute one by the other and how much must I take instead?

Yes just divide by 1.2 to get the anhydrous (sic) weight which is 15.7g.

US formulae use Monohydrated which was the common form of Sodium Carbonate their while we in Europe use Anhydrous.
