I have frozen glycin for almost three years. I then used it not only in Ansco 130, but also in a film developer with only the glycin as the developing agent. YMMV.

I agree with the Ilford Warmtone suggestion. It's not quite the same, but pretty close. Well diluted ID-78 is probably a close match to the Ilford Warmtone.

Yes, dilute it, and you can also add some more Potassium Bromide (up to 3 or 4 times the 4.5 grams that the recipe calls for). This will further warm the tone.

My experience with industry warm tones paper developer finished years ago with the dismission of Agfa WT. In these years I tested many developers and my favourites mixing by scratch (without glycin) are:
- ID 78 for the real warm tone produces with this chance to increase the amount of Potassium bromide in it that allows you to make your prefered grade of warm tones.
- Gevaert 262 a real warm tones developer, realiable and with very interesting results.
With glycin:
- Gevaert 261
With Pyrogallol:
- BJ Warm Tone Developer for Chloro-Bromide Papers a very short life developers, but the warmer of the bunch.
