Frame Destination added a new line of ready made stretcher bar frames. Traditional tongue and groove stretcher bars might collapse when you try to stretch the canvas and are difficult to square. Our stretcher frames are pre squared ready made frames that have permanent 90 degree corners. We use solid wood strainer stock that we hand glue and nail together before shipping so you can spend less time playing with stretcher bars and more time creating or marketing your art. The wood used in our stretcher strips are high quality. We have a variety stretcher bar profiles from our tall S140 stretcher frame ideal for gallery wraps to our inexpensive S120 profile that allows your stretched canvas to be framed in a traditional wood picture frame. We have over 60 different sizes and we can do full custom frames. Note: if you feel that your canvas may sag over time we suggest you use traditional stretcher bars with adjustable corners since the corners on our frames are permanent.
