Street shots (new ones)

NB23 congratulations! The ego boost will be there for you to draw upon later in life. Whether or not your whole life becomes dedicated to photography, you can always look back at that achievement.

But assuming you continue at this pace I think you could be the next Picasso, if so... spend some of your money to buy a villa in Italy where you can spend time with your grandchildren.

Hello Bill!

Thanks for the kind words, and the link about Picasso. What a man. What a man!

Àpropos my achievement; Honestly, I don’t care. Over the years I’ve accumulated many of such, but what is funny is that I don’t remember any of it. And especially in today’s wold where people give no value to art. The viewers can’t distinguish masterpieces from the mundane. Each work of art is given about 1-3 seconds attention from the viewers.

But Picasso. Now there’s a sacred monster, sacred master.

After following this thread: I purchased Nikon F301. And I have already Iike 10 Nikon bodies (F, F2, F3 F80, F75, and so on)... , NB23 it is your fault !

It’s a quite good street camera, yes? Zippy, accurate, extremely responsive. And most of all, a tool!

Bring it to the beach, to the favella, at the bar. In the rain, anywhere.

all stand-outs for me ... the lady and the bike; love the crushed blacks. makes for 3-D, and those insouciant shades!
Yes, a mix of all those things.

thanks

Yes, it is great. At first I was thinking it is broken: without a film, on DX mode camera beeps and red led is blinking...but luckily it is ok. I have ordered Nikon E series 50mm f1.8, it fits even better than 50mm Nikkors that I already have.

I just liked it. Depends on the level of whiskey I drink, I guess.I sometimes like it more, sometimes less.

Hehehe!

Freshly scanned kodachrome.

Everything on this thread looks nice, it's been three days since the last time I go outside. Seeing these pictures makes me feel at ease, at least I can still say that the world is a beautiful place.

I've been keeping myself busy by helping my brother install these chrome fuel hostage wheels that he bought online.

A few recent scans, just for fun. It’s so boring these days...

Stating the obvious...

Actually, looks more like a iphone flash reflecting on the print’s wet surface.

The amazing Tmax 3200. Selenium toned 16x20 fb prints.
Photographed while the prints were soaking, with an iphone + flash, which explains the white dot on the prints.

Thanks for posting those-TMZ has some lovely qualities and well seen images too.

A few from today’s session
