Not sure what the real name for them is but I need a few pairs of the little triangle shaped split rings that are used on pretty much everything to mount a camera strap to a body. Where the heck does one find these? I did some searching on KEH but don't know the correct name and couldn't find anything. Not sure they would have them anyhow but somewhere out there I expect there's a bunch of them sitting around with nothing to do. Anyone know where to find these things?

I use small diameter key rings. It's not as good a fit as the triangle rings but works and is free because I take the rings out of my wife's box of miscellaneous bits and pieces that she keeps in a kitchen drawer.

If you go to Michaels or another craft store, you can buy a box of about 20 circular rings like small key rings. They should be in the jewelry section. They're obviously not shaped the same, but they work just as well & they're cheap.

If you are still in search of some rings, let me know your address and I'll toss a couple round ones in the mail for free. I buy them by the hundreds, for the camera straps I make.

I bought a few packs on ebay but the sellers all sent me the thin type which sucks.

My local Aubuchon hardware sell half inch split rings, not triangular but circular. I don't use the triangular ones because they always seem to get cocked; also I believe they wear the straplugs faster.
