So we got a Leica CL. I'd like to know whether anyone can recommend a nice shoulder, wear across the chest, strap for it.

Remember, it's the CL, it has two slot like on the viewfinder side, rather than rings.

We find neck straps uncomfortable. For SLRs a Joby strap is great, but we're not attaching one of those huge things to the CL's tripod socket.

The lighter/smaller/but-comfier, the better.

Any ideas?

I have found that any narrow strap that fits through the two slots works fine. Straps that come with a lot of the small digital cameras today work fine. They usually have a wider shoulder pad.

I bought an aftermarket Zhou leather case for my CL. It has fasteners for a strap that allow the CL to hang horizontally.

Domke Optec and Lowepro have some that might work for you.
