I bought a couple bricks of XP2 Super and BW400CN recently (expiry June 2008), and I'm wondering should they be stored in the freezer, fridge or at normal temperature? I'm aiming to shoot about a roll every 3.5 weeks, so it'll take a while to finish everything. What's the best storage method?

You will have used them all by the end of 2008 so provided they are not stored in hot, damp or humid conditions you could safely keep them at normal room temperature. If you have room in the freezer you could certainly put them in there, but it's amazing how much room film can take up. I keep reminding myself that primarily my freezer is supposed to be for food!

I keep my 120 size XP2 in the freezer.
Film DOES take up a lot of room.

Another freeze thread! :surprised:

FWIW, I freeze all my unexposed film - regardless of flavor. Why discriminate?

I agree with George on both counts.

This subject is beginning to leave me cold.

OTOH I did learn the one can't just blithly throw Polaroid in the freezer.
