is it possible to coat a number of sheets and then store them in a light proof envelope?

because of the baby I tend to have to do things in stages. So, if I coat one day and then get some time a few days down the line I could print a negative or two.

Yes, I have done this for a number of years. I just keep the paper in a paper safe in a zip loc bag with some dessicant.

Then before I get ready to print, I humidify the paper.

This is how the machine coated papers used to be stored. Except the zip loc bag was a tin tube.
