Storage of Phenylenediamine

Hello,
what is the best method to store para-/ortho-Phenylenediamine? In the freezer like Glycin?

I'd expect this to be stable as a dry compound. A glass jar in a cupboard would do nicely. Keep it dry.

Careful though. That's nasty stuff.

ty - do you know the shelf life of PPD?

No, but with most of these developing compounds, it's measured in decades when stored dry. The ones that go 'off' easily are in fact the exceptions.

PPD is solvent in what?

I was wondering what P-phenylenediamine is solvent in. I just received 100g of the stuff but it is of course in a big lump so I won't be able to measure it. I would like to put it into a percent solution so I am more easily able to utilize it. PG, TEA ? Any suggestions? Does it keep well...
