I recently tried Agfa Viradon New on Foma fibre paper and am wondering how I can control or stop the development in the water bath. I tried three images with 30 sec to 6 minutes in the toning bath using the recommended 1 part in 24 dilution. The stop bath was 10% Sodium Sulphite. Regardless of time in the fixer all papers continued to develop in the water wash although they had appeared to sop in the stop bath. Should I reduce the toner concentration and/or increase the stop bath concentration? Should I leave to soak in the stop bath e.g.. 30 mins?
