Is there a US equivalent to the StopClock Pro sold in the UK? I really like the features of that timer but the US cost plus shipping comes to $325 after the currency conversion. That's a bit steep for me, but I imagine I'll end up saving for it if I can't find one sold here.

In contrast to this question, I have the beseler digital timer (will 1/10ths of a second) and I would like to start using the f-stop method. Can anyone point me to a good source for the actual numbers to use for the test strips? I've become slightly confused on the concept.

Thanks, the pdf is exactly what I've been looking for: a table of the times to use when not using an fstop timer. I'd seen the photo.net thread and it's all over the place (as they usually are) and what sent me into my original befuddlement.

Sorry, I cannot answer your question, but have you asked Dr. Ross if he has a distributor in the US?

If you are interested in the Stop Clock Pro I would be happy to bring one with me when I come the the US in November and post it there to help reduce the carriage. I've used one since RH Designs introduced them and firmly believe they are the best timer available anywhere, and yes I've used the Metrolux too. Please let me know if you would like me to do this.

Les, what would the price be then? I'm quite interested.

I'm very interested as well. November would give me more than enough time to have the money, and I can just do everything by hand until then.

At the risk of shamless self-promotion, yes:

$68 electronics kit
$128 Assembled & tested electronics

In both cases you have to supply the box: CAD plans, drilling
template and front panel are included. An evening's work and
it looks like the picture.
