I have just gotten into film photography and decided to try medium format out. I bought a Fujifilm GS645S.
All the rings on the lens work as expected, except that the shutter speed selector is very stiff and requires bracing my fingers on the crash bar to turn it. It makes it really difficult to select shutter speeds while the camera is pressed against my eye, especially when the field of view is in landscape position.
Is this normal, or do I have a defective shutter speed ring? If it is not normal, are there ways to clean/lubricate it? If normal, do you guys have any tips on how to be able to quickly adjust the shutter speed while looking at the meter in the viewfinder?
Thanks!
