nsfw = not safe for work
Typically means nudity or something that could offend customers or coworkers.

Not Safe For Work uually denotes nudity etc.

Ian
Thanks. For a minute I was afraid that NSFW might mean that one press of the wrong button on my keyboard and I would have signed away my right not to be troubled by e-mails giving me "the latest news and promotions" forever. That's not to say that nudity isn't dangerous. Some say it is at the root of the world's ills. It started innocently enough in a garden with an apple but despite the death of Hugh Heffner I am not all sure we have seen the end of it. :D

I have now read the interview and I was surprised at one of his answers concerning the Cuban people whom he clearly likes. He says: "There are no people like the Cuban people. They have suffered greatly due to the Embargo. Even so, they'll give you the shirt off your back if you ask, or take yours if it is offered" As it stands I presume this is a serious typo and it should read "their backs" not "your back" . If you had no knowledge of how he feels about the Cuban people this could be taken as a cleverly snide but seriously derogatory comment on them based on his dealings with them.

Unfortunate that it wasn't proof read before it got into the public domain

Boys, boys, boys - tempests in teacups! What we must avoid if we are to safely move into the 21st century with PHOTRIO and not be branded as puritanical analogue duffers smelling of F5 fixer and clinging madly to our old old filmic ideas and opinions.

As a goose of a Prime Minister who got dumped in Australia was fond of reminding us, we are grown-ups, and so a simple warning that one will encounter naked peoples in the Anchell site, suffices. Those who take undue offence at having to gape at exposed human skin can then avoid the site and so conserve their precious stores of virtue.

Also overlooking the small matter of shirts off whoever's backs, I greatly enjoyed the interview, even if (for a very brief moment) I thought Steve referred to Indonesians and not Cubans, and I would recommend it be read by anyone interested in Cuba. Many thanks for posting, well done, OP!

I hadn’ thought of it - I apologize if I offended anyone’s sensibilities.
Well sometimes it involves an issue of the PHOTRIO member's sensibilities, more frequently it involves the not unfair requirements of places like workplaces or public places where there are a wide range of people (who may be of a variety of ages, and hold a variety of values) who might be able to see your screen.
If I was viewing PHOTRIO on a computer at a public library, I would be careful to respect the wishes of the elementary school teacher who had her/his class with them.
