Is there any community member who have knowledge about stereolithography of a lens ? Machine park very developed and I am looking for a rapid prototyping company who will produce my lens element.
I saw many propellers from ABS stepless and epoxy or acrylic is better material. Is there optical grade sla material also ?
I am after Glatzel Hologon design but I have to develop a genetic software to develop the lens with material and precision of the output.
May be it will be possible to hand polish the lens !
Its really interesting.

Best ,

I am not after excellent result but better than lomo toy cameras. I want to have big chunk lens. I am not after slow hot materials or production techniques with expensive stuff only fast and big hand finished lens.

I found a company does it. They order your lens from a machine called bluestone. If I am not wrong it is not a lens but ceramic filled plastic. Than they hand lap it to remove the steps of several layers. Than they prepare a mold from the stone and vacuum fill inside with clear resin.
