I think this would be a good place to start - https://www.ilfordphoto.com/beginners-guide/

If you are diligent and follow all the links, you will find that there is more than enough information to get you started down your journey into film! And of course, we are always here for answers to questions you may have! By the way, the link above quite obviously references Ilford products, but most of the literature is really about process, which is not specific to any vendor. In other words, even if you are planning to use chemistry from CompanyX, the above link should still be a pretty good starting point.

Hope that helps!

Are you thinking about colour film, black and white film, or both?

The Youtube channel "Art of Photography" has some nice videos on developing with B&W and Color, as well as darkroom printing.

Does our own "Naked Photographer" offer a video(s) on developing color film.?
I find his Youtube site to be full of great and helpful videos.

Yes, that’s me. I have videos for all sorts of B&W film and prints, and color film and prints. For C41, I have a video solely on that using a Jobo processor, but I teach how to do it by hand in part 2 of my Kodak Reflex camera video.
Great.
Thanks for ..................revealing yourself. :errm:
