I have a nice Kodak BW400CN negative that I want to try printing, but haven't a clue what color settings to start out with. Kodak's guide says to use whatever you print Porta with and add 5M. Useless to me as I almost never shoot Portra.

Anyone print this stuff and have a good start point? I'm printing to Fuji (of course) Crystal Archive type C paper.

Should I post this in the color forum?

So, this is a C41 processed BW neg, but you are going to print it to colour paper? Why?

I don't have a dichro color head, but BW400CN prints just fine on my condenser Omega D2 enlarger to regular B&W paper, no special treatment needed. You might want to bump up the contrast one filter grade, but even that may not be necessary.
