Kubrick didn't usually keep stuff, if I'm not mistaken. If it didn't make it to the final cut, it was usually destroyed. This is why there's almost zero deleted scenes or outtakes available for his films.
I found this interesting.
Yes I know (Lubezki is REAL talented) - obviously a lot more talented than we could ever be together...You should watch it. The cinematography is stunning (Lubezki is a very talented DP). It was shot mainly on the Alexa 65, which is the digital equivalent of 65/70mm film.
An interesting exception is the "happy ending" on the theatrical release of Blade Runner had some aerial shots taken from unused "The Shining" footage.

Yeah, i saw it once, in....... 1979-1980.Never seen "A Clockwork Orange?" it's a rather disturbing scene in a disturbing movie. Not that I didn't enjoy it but sometimes things just bug ya.
