I have a general question about stand development. I don't have extensive experience with stand development, but I have processed a few rolls and sheets of film. With HC-110 1:100 from concentrate processed at 68°, I've had pretty good luck with agitation for the first minute and let the film stand for an hour. It seems to work with Artista EDU 100 and Artista EDU 400. Will also work with Tri-x also. Since I sometimes process many types of BW film in one lab session, I wonder if I could process several types of film with one run? I'd like to stand develop with Pyrocat HD also with the same methods. Anybody have experience of mixing different films? My last question is with over development. Since the film is standing, overdevelopment is harder because of bromide buildup in thr highlights. Is my hypothesis true? Thanks in advance!

I always semi stand. Otherwise I get streaks, no matter what. Streaks and more streaks.

I just pulled a roll off the reel. I did 1:100 rodinal and gave it a spin at 30. The leader and tail has streaks, they always do. I wonder why. The rest of the roll looks fine.

You are always asking for trouble with stand development. A word to the wise ...

Yes.

They will probably develop to slightly different CI’s but that can be fixed with paper grade.

Normal development

Thanks for the tip. I'm guessing the halfway point.
