Stainless steel dark room trays?

Enameled "butcher's" trays that have no visible cracks, exposed metal will work on, however, Butcher Trays have a rounded up center, and r 'dome' and liquids will gather in the 'troughts' on the sides, so you'll need more chemistry to cover the prints.

If you use enameled trays, only use those made for photochemistry, made by reliable companies, to including old ones, with flat bottoms.

IMO.

I started with some old enamelled pie dishes from the kitchen. Left the chemicals in for a couple of days and ended up with blackened enamel and a few rust spots.
Plastic ever since, easily cleaned with household bleach.
