If I can I'll be there, April or May is fine.

I hope people have firm resolutions to get back into their darkroom to get their prints ready for our next gathering. This is more like a 'get up and at it' for myself, but if it applies to you so much the better.

Cheers

Hi All,

Many thanks for all of the replies - I think we have a quorum and a consensus that we go for a Saturday in May rather than April. Like other posters, I am also really taken with Rafal's experience at the John Sexton workshop and I think that we would like to hear more, and indeed see any new prints, if we are not presuming too much on Rafal.

I will suggest May 12th in the DCC. I thought the morning start time worked for the November meet, but those traveling longer distances may prefer a 2.30pm - 5pm timeframe?

Does 12 May look like a suitable date - any preferences for time?

Gerry, 12th May looks good to me and the morning session was quite successful last time. It allows time for the meeting to over run if need be.

12th out for me. Could do it any Saturday after that.

Edit: forgot to say if the 12th suits most then go for that. I won't have many new prints to show anyway.

Ah, thanks for all the nice pressure. I am planning to do most of my printing in the summer, but if May is the meet-up, I will make sure to do some in time for it.

May 12 I couldn't commit to at the moment... I have a tentative trip to Canada around then. I will know more about my calendar by the end of this month, but will do everything to adjust to you guys.

Folks,

- Perhaps given Peter and Rafal's commitments May 19th might be a better alternative? Unfortunately I'm not available myself for a few weekends after the 19th, and in any event I think we might start clashing with summer hols. Even if the number is lower than we had at the last meeting, we could still do the meet-up as they are enjoyable and good learning and we have plenty of time to firm up still.

The 19th is okay for me also but only if we meet in the morning.

Hi folks,

- Just about a month to go to 19/5 & we have Peter, Vincent, Eddie & I. I have done some printing but not a whole lot! Hope to do more before then though.

I'll be in the DCC on Tuesday & I'll book the room - hopefully a few others might be able to come along on the morning of 19th also?

Gerry

(PS - All seems to have gone very quiet on APUG Irl in recent months....)

Thanks for the reminder Gerry. I did make a start but then I let it slide, must get back into the darkroom again. I think the numbers will pick up as the date draws near.

I am very new to all this but I would like to call in and have a nosy if that would be OK? It is very unlikely that I will have anything to show although thefizz did help me make my fist ever Lith print at the weekend.

And what a nice lith print it is Brendan . Bring it along, you are more than welcome to attend.

Lads I have just received word from the hospital that I've to attend for a medical procedure on Fri. 18th . It is only for an hour or two but I've been told that I may feel very tired afterwards, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend our meeting the following day.
I'll be fine the following Sat. the 26th but I'm not sure if that would suit other people or maybe you may not want to change the date at this stage?
