My first post is about a growing problem on my FL55 1.2
Another lens had the same problem and once it reached the glass the glass started to swell quit fast
Anybody experience to solve this problem?

I've never seen that. It doesn't look like oxidation or fungus to me. I've seen fungus eat the paint part, but have never seen it on the lock ring and something is there, whatever it is. Does it appear to be from the inside and creeping outside? Fungus can be killed w/ exposure to strong UV, so it could be set outside pointing the sun for a few days, and common household chemicals will remove fungus (see link below).

But again, I have no idea what that is. In any case, cleaning it off w/ a vinegar solution can't hurt, and you could see where it's coming from if it reappears. More photos would help.

I see chemical corrosion of the metal parts of the barrel.

I got no idea what the OP refers to by "glass swelling". It would be a good idea to present a 2nd photo.

I throwed it in the bin years ago, it was a cheap low quality lens
It was like there was milk on the glass in the begin and later on it became thicker and whiter
On te metal ring more than 2mm salt or oxidation

Because this is a f1.2 lens with a certain caracter I don't want to lose it
Does anybody know what material the lens barrel and aperture ring is made of?

This corrosion is so bad, it not only hampered surface look, but actually let to material visibly got lost.
This cannot be caused by finger prints in any way.

That's not what I had in mind. I had in mind chemical corrosion by something in their sweat.

Finger prints contain sweat. But such will not lead to the depicted corrosion.

As it's clearly not a passivating oxide, with continued use I am in inclined to think the opposite (stringed instrument experience). But each to their own,

I dit not have it about a passivating oxidation, I did not even mention the term oxidation.

(Though any change from the metal state can be regarded as oxidation.)

It should be of no interest to you what material this is (most likely all Aluminium). You are making a much too big story out of it. Just grind off those patches and things are fine again. There is no need of a surface treatment, aside for cosmetic reason. Just wipe the barrel off after use before longterm storage.
A different case would be if that corrosion stretches inside, under the aperture ring, maybe even hampering twisting it, then a barrel disassemly might be needed and further grinding.

This is just a lens, use it as intended and have fun with it. Any collector's value, if you are considering such, it lost long ago.

Another thing: You define yourself as digital photographer, but in case you use film, be aware that with this lens there are compatibility issues with FD-bodies (aside the lacking of open-aperture TTL metering).
