I just made this contact print and noticed about 4 frames have these orbs in them. I have never had air bubbles, could this be my first time? A made several contact prints this morning and this is the only one with issues. Two other possibilities.. This roll is Fomapan "first time i have even used this film" and the contact print is made through a Print File sleeve.

Try making the contact print with the negs out of the Print File sleeve first. It may be uniformity issues with the plastic.

Are you talking about the lighter blotches above the child's head in the only full frame? If so they look like they are lighter than the rest, meaning plus density. With air bubbles you get slightly darker patterns, because the air bubbles actually prevents development in the area it touches the film. When you see something of lighter tone in a print, it would be developed MORE, which doesn't make sense.

Thanks Thomas.. That makes sense now. I just went to make a 8x10 print from it and of course my focusing knob on my enlarger broke and freely spins! Oh well, shit happens. I looked at the negative out of the sleeve under room light and dont see any spots. I'm going to have to post in another forum about my focusing knob and hopefully i can get advice on fixing it and then go ahead and print the negative.
