I've been shooting a little Adox CHS 25 film have have been getting black spots on the negatives. The darkroom is almost underway so right now I'm limited to examinations with a 10x loupe. The spots seem like they're "stuck" to the film because I can remove a lot of them by gently wiping the base with a soft cloth, like a cotton glove. Haven't touched the emulsion side. They definitely don't look like air bells.
I have been processing normally, doing a final rinse with distilled water, and then another rinse with distilled water and a drop of LFN. Never used LFN before but I'm not particularly thrilled with it compared to my memories of using Photo Flo. I'll be trying some of that in the near future. In the meantime, has anyone experienced spots with this film beyond what you're used to seeing and dealing with in processing other film types?
thanks,
