Retouch Methods, the New Jersey Company that made the Spotone line of photo spotting dyes, went out of business in 2004, another victim of the rapid dominance of digital photography.
Even if Retouch Methods was still in business its unlikely that it would object to someone posting the instruction sheet packed with each 3-bottle kit as this would tend to INCREASE the number of people using its product. Damaging infringement of copyright only occurs if someone sells or gives away for free something Retouch Methods normally sells at a profit. That simply wasnt the case with the instruction sheet, especially in 2010 six years after the demise of the company.
A problem would exist if someone marketed a line of spotting dyes under the Spotone brand without first purchasing the copyright from the owner.
