Lens mount screws will hold the bottom plate for sure, but the heads won't be flush.
To try, I swapped one of my lens mount screw and it fit perfectly. It has a countersunk head as your example on the right. That's the one I need.

measure the outside diameter of an existing screw, the distance between thread peaks or valley centers, and the length all in millimeters.
If you come across some battered camera of any japanese make for little money, get it for salvaging, it will bring up at least one screw you will need one day...
