Hi all, I like to use Kodak Flexicolor Chemicals. Recently the store I buy the Bleach from ran out of bleach but I still have some processing to do. I happen to have a box of tetenal c41 press kit laying around. I still have Tons of Kodak Flexicolor c41 Fixer. Is it possible for me to only use part 1 from the tetenal kit (the red one) as bleach and to use my normal Fixer?
If you feel the need to question me on why I'm making my life more hard or whatever do us all a favor and buzz off from now.
I want to be able to my fixer through my silver recovery system and don't want to let all that silver go to waste as I process a lot of c41 weekly.

It is possible but you need to add a bromide salt (ammonium bromide) to combine with silver ions, use the standard ammount of bleach concetrate to do a Blix working solution and add around 50-75 gr per litre of ammonium bromide. Also adjust pH with acetic acid to around 5.

A while back I wrote an article here on how to convert a BLIX kit to a setup with separate bleach and fixer. This may give you all the information you need.
