South Bay Meetup?

I'm thinking of starting a loosely-organized photo meetup for the South Bay -- a n ongoing excuse for people to get together and talk about their work etc. Not a camera club per se, no affiliations or contests or any of that. Hopefully something more like "Boston Street" or similar. My initial thought is to poll folks from a few different groups on the net: APUG obviously, the B&W printing list, Contax G, and the blogging community. To see what emerges from the process. Meeting place probably at a local coffeehouse or if worse comes to worst my teensy home in Santa Clara.
