Source for raw chemicals in Canada?

Hi all:

For work I am living in Halifax for the next few months. I brought my scale and my measuring vessels up from home. What is a source for raw/bulk chemicals here in Canada? I don’t think I want to take chances with an Artcraft or Formulary order at the border, especially since I need catechin.

It may not have all of what you're looking for, but NSCAD has an art supply store that sells film photography supplies. I've bought film and paper there but never specifically looked for chemicals. I have heard that they do though. 902.494.8176

Nymoc is the place I'd hit up. They can also mix up pmk if you need as well for example.

I think nymoc is out of the photo chemical business. Argentix out of Québec has a lot of formulary products at fair prices

hmm, that's worrying. just called and they still have voice mail so will try during weekday. Haven't bought anything from them recently but have in the past.
