I am looking for a new source for 16x20 portfolio cases. I have a half dozen of the Sentinel cases that Light Impressions sells, and the hinges are a joke, they literally detach themselfs from the cases. I am looking for a sturdier case. Any ideas/websites?

Thanks,

Ken

Check out the ones made by Cachet that are sold through Freestyle. MUCH!! less expensive than LI and the one I have, at least, is very well made.

Use "cachet boxes" in the search window.

What material are these made of? They appear to be plastic, but I can't be sure.

I just had one made by these guys and they are amazing and extremely good.

Portfoliobox, Inc.

Very reasonable pricing also.

i also would recommend portfoliobox in pawtucket ri.
they do a great job! in addition to presentation cases, clamshell boxes &C,
they also custom make presentation books - hand made + bound.

very good quality, everything is custom-made and
they are nice people too ( i live a few miles away  )

Here's a link to their site. The boxes are similar to the LI ones...'archival' fiber board covered with a cloth or cloth-like material. Mine is more rigid than the 11x14 ones I had from LI and seems very well made. If I were traveling a lot with it, though, I'd find a suitable outer case for it with a handle. For the price, it'd be hard to beat I think.
