Does anybody know of a source for .45 micron laboratory filter paper for chemical mixing? I'm trying not to order the wrong thing. Thanks...

www.whatman.com is pretty much the standard in filter papers.

You can also use Chemex FP-1 filters, these are 12" circles. They are sold for Chemex coffee brewers but are made of laboratory grade filter paper and are probably less expensive than the Whatman papers. Google to get the address of a dealer near you.

We always use Whatman's in our lab. That is one nice thing, I can buy boxes of gloves and filter paper for our wholesale price and can take home as much DI water and Ultrapure water as I need :D
