Hello All,

I know that Fotoimpex sells Minox 16mm sleeves, but does anyone have a UK source for 110 sleeves, or maybe you have a spare few at home? I only need 3 or 4 pages.

Thanks,
Steve.

What would be the difference between a 16mm sleeve and a type 110...

You mixed things up: Minox is 9mm

I never ever heard of 16mm sleeves. (Though most probably my memory just fails.) I guess the type 135 ones would work too.
Or do I overlook something?

I contact print mine with two stuck into each 35mm sleeve. I use a tiny bit of tape to hold them side by side.
I have actually found that they get very close to being flat if stored well weighted this way.

Then you can actually project them while still together in a 35mm neg carrier. I have masking bladed thing to put under the carrier that helps to isolate the frame. I use a 50mm lens, (until a shorter lens can be found, and a tall head height

Did ever 16mm sleeves exist? (I got curious now.)

I wish they were still available. 127 sleeves too.

I've childhood photos in 110, and sometimes they were in sleeves (depending on how cheap the processing was). I see them on ebay occaisionally.

if you have a soldering iron and a ruler you can make 35mm sleeves into 110/16mm sleeves -- just heat the iron and run it quickly along the middle of the 35mm slot on a sleeve, dividing it in two. You get the hang of how slow to move the iron so it just melts a quick weld and doesn't go through.

Would not work with paper sleeves though.

Many many years ago when 110 was very popular, the Boots company in the UK sold a photo album with pages of some kind of plastic into which you slid four prints per side. At the back of the album was another plastic type sheet with channels designed to each take a strip of 110 negatives. That's the only time I've ever found negative sleeving designed for 110/16mm negatives. I've actually been looking recently but without success. If someone can make them for the Minox size, you would think they could do it for 16mm too, but obviously not!

I know that this is an old thread but I'm on the hunt for PrintFile 110-5 sleeves that hold 16mm or 110 film strips. I have a few but could use some more. They have been long discontinued by PrintFile:

The pages are 5 5/8" wide and 5 1/8" tall. Anyone know of a source?
