That is good to hear. Even if it doesn't directly impact still photography.

I think it's very interesting, and hopefully it's an avenue for Kodak to cement the need of 35mm film for the future. The talk about black and white used for separation is also interesting, exposing different channels via a recorder onto b&w stock and 'decoding' it down the road by scanning into the same color separation channels in the future.
Both these films, if they are successful, guarantees some sort of demand for both color and b&w film in the future, which could also help still film production survive.
I guess I'm a 'glass half full' kind of guy, and maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I do think it's interesting.

I think it does impact still photography. It means they will keep the coating machines running - assuming this goes well in the market. I would think they could coat other films on the same machinery - just the slitting, perforating and packaging would be different.

Greeting to all lovers of analogue photography from Italy !

Many of the claims made in that link are based on premises that are very incorrect, and not based on science. It seems Kodak makes advertisment copy that creates "problems" that can be met by their solutions.

More of the same, coming out of Kodak. Just one more "solution" looking for a problem. It's no wonder Kodak is in trouble today, and even at this late date, they refuse to face reality.
